Optical Cable Routing Detector

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments has announced the release of its optical cable routing detector which uses multi-coil electromagnetic technology and advanced digital signal processing techniques for accurate location. It integrates a transmitter and a receiver into one unit which quickly and efficiently detects the route and depth of buried optical fiber cable.

This optical cable routing detector, model C0290001, can identify a target pipeline from multiple pipelines. And different locating modes and functions are used to improve measurement efficiency. It operates at dual frequencies of 480Hz and 31Hz to meet different needs and provides multi transmit modes including injection method, inductance method and clamp method. Injection method provides a maximum distance of pipeline routing of up to 10 km. Inductance method has a maximum pipeline routing distance of up to 3 km and clamp method offers a maximum distance of up to 6 km.

This optical cable route detector measures pipeline depth of burial at a maximum of up to 4.5 m with a measurement accuracy of ±0.05 h ± 5 cm. It also features automatic gain adjustment, pipeline state detection and has a low battery indicator.

Highly Stable Handheld Fiber Optic Light Source

DDS Arbitrary Function Generator/Counter Using VFD Techniques

It uses VFD (visible vacuum fluorescent) techniques to create stable and accurate output signals with a wide selection of low distortion standards and arbitrary waveforms. This digital generator/counter is designed for such applications as communication equipment testing and electronic components production.

This direct digital synthesis (DDS) arbitrary function generator and counter, model A0230002, features convenient data input via knob or numerical keyboard and remote SCPI compatible program-control via RS232, GPIB, and USB interfaces. It implements continuous phase adjustment function in trig mode. It also allows for the arbitrary setting of AM modulation from 1% to 120% and the setting of start and end frequency for frequency scan output.

The DDS arbitrary function generator and counter boasts high pulse duty ratio resolution of up to 0.001, high resolution and accuracy of digital FM and 0.1° phase adjustment resolution. It provides standard or internal storage of 27 fixed waveforms and 8 to 16000 configurable memory points for arbitrary waveforms. In addition, the generator can store and recall 10 groups of settings.

Handheld CATV/QAM Analyzer Features Fast Spectrum Analysis

It conducts analog TV index measurement including C/N, V/A, Tilt, Limit and trunk voltage. Portable xDSL Tester Features DSL Line Self-Identification Connection

Double Clamp Earth Resistance Tester Provides a Self-Check Function and Automatic Frequency Control Function
