Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Toronto, CanadaGAO Instruments recommends this compactoptical fiber identifier, which is specifically designed for the use in the construction and maintenance of optical fiber communication and optical fiber CATV systems. The portable fiber identifier accurately distinguishes optical signals in fibers with service running while avoiding undo pressure on the optic fibers. It identifies multiple signal frequencies such as 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz. This optical fiber identifier, model A0640004, is able to identify H 0.25 bare fiber and H0.9 / H2.5 /H3.0 tail fiber. It operates at a wavelength range of 800nm to 1700nm and works continuously for at least eight hours on a full charge. The portable identifier has an LED to indicate low power and display the intensity of optical signals.
