ADSL2+Tester with a Large Memory

Water Resistant Fiber Optic Power Meter

Handheld SDH/PDH Transmission Analyzer

This analyzer features flexible software-defined simulated LED indicators for current and saved alarm status indication. Its compact architecture and high reliability make this transmission analyzer an ideal tool for the installation and troubleshooting of E1, DS3, STM-1/OC-3, STM-4/OC-12 and STM-16/OC-48 lines.

Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) Analysis Meter

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments has rolled out its quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) analysis meter designed for the installation and maintenance of Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) systems. It complies with DVB-C and ITU J.83 Annex A standards. This meter features C/N measurement, return path testing, voltmeter functionality, spectrum analysis, data logging, analog TV measurement and DVB power measurements including QAM, QPSK and COFDM.

The QAM analysis meter, model A0500005, operates over a wide frequency range of 5MHz to 870MHz with a resolution of 10kHz. It boasts intelligent power management, fast setup and alphanumeric input and allows for easy transfer of test data to a computer or printer. Portable Signal Level Analyzer Operates over a Wide Frequency Range

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments has released its handheld signal level analyzer designed and manufactured for CATV system installation and testing. This signal level analyzer operates over the frequency range of 5MHz to 870MHz. It features a rugged design and simple operation and measures CATV TILT, C/N and trunk cable voltage.

This portable signal level analyzer, model A0500015, provides a level range of 30dBμV to 115dBμV. It scans up to 125 channels at a speed of 30 channels per minute and stores twenty-three groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group). This easy-to-carry analyzer can test CATV signals accurately in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. In “SCAN” mode, the analyzer scans all channels and records signal levels in internal memory for later analysis. In “SPECTRUM” mode, the analyzer displays spectrums and conducts tests within certain frequency ranges. This rugged signal level analyzer is configured with a 128X64-matrix backlit LCD screen for clear display of test results.

Handheld Optical Light Source with 1 to 4 Output Wavelengths

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments recommends this handheld optical light source which is specially designed for maintenance in Telecom, CATV fiber optics and for general fiber optic testing. It provides 1 to 4 output wavelengths to meet specific requirements. Highly Accurate Parallel Data Acquisition Module

Handheld E1 Bit Error Rate (BER) Tester

Portable Fiber Optic Identifier
