Easy-to-Use Handheld ADSL2+ Tester

Mini Handheld Optical Power Meter for Absolute Power Measurement

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments has announced the release of its mini optical power meter specially designed to meet the testing needs of fiber optic network maintenance, telecommunication and CATV testing. This mini power meter works together with GAO’s 08221 mini handheld light source to offer a portable testing pair as an effective testing system for field work in optical networks.

This easy-to-use mini optical power meter, model A0670006, offers various measurement ranges for different demands including -60dBm to 3dBm, -50dBm to 10dBm, -40dBm to 20dBm, and -30dBm to 30dBm at an accuracy of ±5%. The wavelength ranges from 800nm to 1650nm with calibrated wavelengths at 850, 980, 1310, and 1550nm. A universal 2.5mm adaptor and interchangeable FC, SC, ST optical connectors can be provided. The energy- saving meter has a low battery warning and operates continuously for up to 360 hours on three 1.5V batteries. The meter offers a quick response without requiring warm-up. Additionally, it is resistant to dust and water making it suitable for field testing.

Handheld Visible Fault Locator

The fault locator is a visible red laser source specifically used to find fiber faults in fiber jumpers, patch panels, enclosures, connectors and couplers. It uses visible light to accurately indicate the location of fiber faults from a macro bend point, break, problem coupler or connector or a mechanical splice that is not well aligned.

This handheld fault locator, model A0630008, features low voltage warning and automatic power off for saving energy. Multi-Function Handheld Parallel Data Acquisition Module

The design differs from comparable instruments in that the signals from a large number of detectors are processed in parallel. This parallel data acquisition module, model A0710007, is equipped with two high-speed 40M 12bits ADCs and features a small-size, stacked connection, DasView2.0 analysis software system and easy to use bus drive. It allows for quick and easy data acquisition and control to be carried out using a computer. This compact data acquisition module has a memory depth of 4M/ch which can be extended to 8M/ch or 16M/ch. It achieves ±40mV to ±40V voltage signal acquisition with tool kit. This data acquisition board boasts a wide sampling rate ranging from 1k to 20M with a low inter-channel phase difference of less than 1°. What’s more, it performs highly accurate measurements with phase consistency.

Portable Digital Insulation Tester Features Double Insulation Protection

Data Acquisition Card with Parallel Design

It is ideal for applications such as transient signal recording, refined frequency synthesis, multi-channel parallel acquisition and time-phase-sensitive acquisition. It offers four parallel channels with an independent 20Msps 12-bit A/D converter and four independent programmable gain amplifiers for each channel.

The voltage signal acquisition ranges from ±100mV to ±20V and the maximum sampling rate is up to 20Msps. Handheld Signal Level Analyzer Features Auto-off Time Setup

SDH/PDH Transmission Analyzer Performs BER Testing

This analyzer is a perfect tool for installing and troubleshooting E1, DS3, STM-1/OC-3, STM-4/OC-12, and STM-16/OC-48 lines  and for E1 pulse mask analysis, overhead analysis, point analysis and anomaly/defect analysis as well as bit error rate (BER) testing.
