Toronto, Canada â€“ GAO Instruments is offering its SDH/PDH transmission analyzer. It is used for pulse mask analysis, overhead analysis, point analysis and anomaly/defect analysis as well as bit error rate (BER) testing. The analyzer is widely used in R&D, manufacture, acceptance testing, performance monitoring, maintenance and measurement of SDH/PDH networks and devices.
This SDH/PDH transmission analyzer, model A0020005, performs on-line and off-line tests of T1, E1, E2, E3, E4, DS1, DS3, STM-1 (155M), STM-4 (622M), and STM-16 (2.5G). Performance analysis conforms to ITU-T G.821, G.826, G.828, G.829, ZM.2100 and M.2101 international standards. Multiple tasks can be created and deleted dynamically. Its various functions also include automatic tributary scanning, automatic protection switching (APS), round trip delay measurement, TCM serial monitoring, timing and synchronization testing and real-time optical power testing.
This transmission analyzer features flexible, software-definition, simulated LED for current and historical error indication. In addition, this analyzer has a large memory capacity to record bit error and alarm events that can be displayed in charts and graphics. Test results can be saved as HTML or TXT format or uploaded to U-disk or PC for further analysis, reporting and printing.
This portable SDH/PDH transmission analyzer belongs to GAOâ€™s family of E1 BER testers.
