Radio Frequency Spectrum Analyzer for Wireless Networks

Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments has announced the release of its radio frequency spectrum analyzer. This analyzer is specially designed to install, test, troubleshoot, analyze and optimize wireless networks in telecommunications, broadcasting, CATV and EMC testing fields and other indoor and outdoor applications.

This radio frequency spectrum analyzer, model A0070002, features a small size and light weight. It uses locked-phase local and all-digitized medium frequency processing technologies. All RBW/VBW filters and medium frequency/video detectors are digital. It operates over a wide frequency range of 9 kHz to 3 GHz. The analyzer provides a resolution bandwidth of 100 Hz to 1 MHz at an accuracy of ± 25% (1 MHz) or ± 10% (<1 MHz).

This analyzer conforms to third-level equipment standard in GJB3947–2000. Its internal non–volatile memory can store 200 groups of measurement data, which can be downloaded via its RS232 interface. It is equipped with a 6-inch VGA TFT color LCD screen providing clear signal detail. In addition, its large capacity rechargeable lithium battery ensures a long operating time of up to 4 hours.

This high performance radio frequency spectrum analyzer belongs to GAO’s family of Telecom Testers and Analyzers. Featured products included in this line are TDR Cable Fault Locator which is ideal for localization of breaks, shorts, poor electric insulation and other faults of various telephone cables, RF cables and coaxial cables, Handheld Portable Gigabit Ethernet Tester which supports multiple functions including network testing, data packet capture, traffic generation, cable testing and BER testing. This line also has Portable E1/Datacom Transmission Analyzer and Multi-function ADSL/ADSL2+ Tester.
